Overview:
Tebiskin® CeraBoost is a formula clinically tested in numerous medical trials. It restores the intercellular lipid matrix of the skin barrier by delivering ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids in the physiological 3:1:1:1 ratio (ceramides : cholesterol : unsaturated fatty acids : saturated fatty acids). It provides six biologically active ceramides sourced from bacterial fermentation, together with palmitic acid and other lipid precursors that are metabolised in the skin to release a further three ceramides. In total, nine ceramides are supplied, accounting for ~96% of those found in the natural lipid layer.
